United For Opportunity accepts unsolicited materials but requires submissions be accompanied by our UFO submission form. Here are a few guidelines of what UFO is looking for in potential artists:
  • Existing or rapidly expanding fanbase
  • Receiving good local press
  • Actively touring or extensive tour history
  • Latest recording should be good demonstration of current sound/vision
  • Able to deliver a finished master recording and artwork at own expense
  • Clear artistic vision/direction
At this time UFO is not accepting submissions from brand new artists that have no sales or tour history.

To help us get to know you better, please fill out the Submission Form as detailed as possible, print the email (which you will receive after filling out the form), and send it in with the requested materials to our address below (materials will not be returned).

If you have any questions, please contact us via our contact form. We'll contact you if we have interest (please no calls).

Required materials for submission (please include 2 of each):
  • Latest CD recording (please list on CD 3 focus tracks that best represent your sound)
  • Copies of previous recordings that have sold more than 2,500 units (CD only)
  • Recent press clips (maximum of 5)
  • Current press photo
  • Current biography
  • Tour history (detailed as possible: date, venue, city, state, # tix sold)
